He loves me anyway.
Anyway, as I looked around and started laughing at my self-imposed tornado, I took the camera out to remind myself (and anyone else reading this babble) that a little R & R for us busy moms every once in a while is okay. The kids didn't even seem to mind.
The house was carpeted in a layer of Fisher-Price. Yes, as you can see, my children also followed the "jammies at 1:30 p.m." standard I set today.
I left the dishwasher open solely for Ryder's entertainment value. Sharp knives were removed before any fun was had.
To-do. . . . to-morrow.
I was just thinking that I would make the transition to bed tonight. . . easier. Taking off 10 pillows takes some time!
Now this is a sight to behold. . . . 3 kids watching a little (literally) T.V. on an 8" screen. Especially when the monster below sits just 4 feet away. Oh, except for it blew up internally.

Love the post (as that of course is my daily life lately -- only let's compound that mess about ten-fold), although I seem to remember that jammies all day is not the part of it that is "uncommon" :).
I'm so sorry about your TV. That is tragic. I can't even comprehend what Rich does until the wee hours of the morning without being able to re-watch his favorite movies for the umpteenth time so he can properly pull out random quotes at a moment's notice!
Wow, you guys make me feel better! My house is like that often and I don't really have an excuse. I just do too many other things and put it off! Brave to take pictures! Jeff likes it when I offer to host something because then it gets the house looking really good!
Love it, love it, love it.
Those kinds of days are my norm. Doesn't everybody wear PJ's all day long?!
I completely know what you're talking about. I had those days all the time when my boys were little. Sounds like FUN!

PS - Hope it's okay that I'm reading your blog. :)
Thanks for that! Now I know I'm not the only one.
Just spent 20 minutes catching up on you via your fun blog. What an adorable family you have! 4 kids! WOW!
