Trick-or-Treat!

Happy Halloween! Normally I am more ambitious and creative (pat, pat, pat on the back) and like to do some kind of costume theme. This year, time was spent and the theme kind of picked itself because of that. . . . . and the theme is "Recycling". I love my friend, Tricia, who thought I meant my kids were going green and going as plastic bottles and glass jars. Instead, recycling means using what we already had. The nice thing was that none of them had to be something they already had been in previous years. . . . just what another brother had been. I guess Olivia got lucky that I didn't make her be Spiderman--instead she got to be a really cute (albeit somewhat creepy) butterfly I found in the dress up bin. Next year I'll go all out and really get creative. . . unless recycling is still the "in" thing to do!

Max's firefighter helmet was made out of fleece. . . . warm, but looked more like a prairie bonnet than a manly helmet.
