Have you ever watched anyone eat that really savors their food? You know . . . . taking the time to relish every last bite? Typically, at our house we see the opposite. . . . taking the time to leave every last bite on the plate. Ryder (who seems to be getting a lot of press on the blog lately. . . good thing my other kids don't read this) does this, but only with one food in particular. Popsicles. Can popsicles really be called a food? Hmmmm. . . . . food for thought.
I don't think I've ever seen him actually bite a popsicle. Rather, he licks it until there ain't no more to be licked. And it isn't just any kind of lick. . . it's the wide-mouthed kind you really don't want to watch. And it takes him about 30 minutes to do so.
Want one?
I think this is 24 minutes into it. . . . still goin' strong.
And our Sawyer Baby just discovered the joys of popsicle painting and popsicle pasting (putting the popsicle back on the stick).
Looks to me that popsicles must be, in fact, a really good food.

Wise to take their shirts off in this case and wise to match Sawyer's popsicle with his shorts. Smart lady and cute boys.
What a good mom...I don't even buy popsicles anymore because of the mess they make!
Wish I could look that cute eating a popsicle...
He is one funny kid! I didn't think it was possible for a popsicle to last that long. I guess that is one good reason for living in Utah. Here in AZ I think they only last about 5 minutes!
