Top Ten Reasons to Watch Owen Play T-ball

Owen's first t-ball season is over and done with. In honor of it's completion, let's take a look back at why we sat in the blazing sun each week in the first place. Here is our "Top Ten Reasons to Watch Owen Play T-ball" list. Enjoy it as much as we did (only do it on the comfort of your couch).

#10: You talkin' to me?? Owen faces off with a teammate to decide who will bat first, although I think the team is at bat as this occurred.

#9: Owen employs his "Spidey Powers" to overpower his opponents.

#8: I have no idea. Slippin' some skin or some secret t-ball handshake. The world may never know.

#7: Impressin' the ladies by defying the "white men can't jump" mentality. Boy, she looks impressed.

#6: Owen giving the other team member a friendly little tip of the hat. He doesn't know it's supposed to be his own hat that he tips, but that's another lesson for another day.

#5: Instead of "shortstop", Owen plays "traffic stop".

#4: Yet another tactic to obtaining (and keeping) the base. No other players were harmed as his "handgun" was not loaded, thankfully.

#3: Owen may not know karate, but he knows "cuh-razy"!

#2: Our little future scout. . . . always prepared! There is actually no ball coming towards him, but, boy, will he be ready when one does!

#1: Yes, we realize now that we should've signed him up for karate, as he spent more time honing his martial arts skills than his t-ball skills. You can't dispute that he's got good form!

If for nothing else, we got some good laughs, good shots and a good little sport out of the deal!

Yeah, I'm totally laughing right now. And remembering what it was like watching Wesley make those same moves out in the field. I wasn't laughing as much at him. Maybe this is a good reminder to relax and just let the boys be boys!

Hey Shar,
You have such a cute blog! It looks like you guys are doing great in Utah! The pictures you got of Owen playing t-ball made me laugh so much! Fun!
Well, we miss you guys. We were in Utah for the 4th of July and I could've kicked myself for not seeing you guys. I totally spaced it. You would understand if you saw the mass of family we have to put up with when we are there. But next time we are in Utah I will try to keep family at bay for at least an hour or so and we will try to come see you guys!
