Beatlemania is alive and well in the Wilcox household. Owen is a person of many talents . . . . making guns out of any household substance, acrobatics on the couch, brushing "all" of his teeth in 2 seconds flat, playing t-ball while hiding legos in the palm of his hand . . . . all very worthwhile accomplishments. His most recent ability is to recall any Beatle's song on their "1" album, not by title of the song, but by track number. There are 27 tracks on this album. We discovered this driving one day while listening to this CD and he told us he wanted #15. Wondering if he knew any others by the number, we hid the CD display from him, skipped around on the album and played the first few seconds of each song. He nailed all of the track numbers, except 2 or 3 of the more "ballad-like" songs. Little boys evidently don't like ballads.
Needless to say, he didn't inherit his memory from his mom.
